It’s unclear what point you’re trying to make. Using illegal drugs is a choice, yes. Do you know of any community where drug use or other minor offenses (jay-walking, loitering) are at zero percent? The PSA is about racist enforcement of the law. Try to keep up, man.

I mean, dismissing anything as ‘just a social construct,’ is so silly. If a social construct has intense material consequences for people living within the construct, it’s rather important. Like money (as you and Oluo point out). Or the US-Mexico border. Or the United States itself. Entirely made up by people, still

Well yeah, me neither, and that’s a good thing. For the most part, people really don’t lie about this kind of thing.

Plus this thing about identifying more with black people because she grew up poor is just so disingenuous. If she grew up poor and white in Idaho, chances are she knew a ton of other poor white people, and understand that poor and white are in no way mutually exclusive. This is just a talking point, nothing more.

    This needs more stars.

That’s not what this is. The female equivalent would be a woman saying, ‘he’s married, I’m not,’ about her husband, and then cheating on him.

It’s really fucked. The two main purposes of food are to sustain life, and for social bonding. This is a meal given to someone that’s going to be killed in an hour, eaten alone. I get that these are often terrible people eating the meals, but this is really some sadistic shit designed by the state.

Congrats, you already are! They already have no idea who you are. You didn’t even need to somehow get an interview with one of them, and mess it up.

That’s not how this works. Even with this latest fuck-up, Kendall Jenner is one of the most in-demand celebrities in America right now. She’s the one in limited supply, not any one media outlet. If it makes you feel better to call her a parasite, great, but her brand’s not hurting for attention right now.

It’s insanely anti-Semitic. And he created the situation himself. There was no reason to bring Hitler into it, people already understand that gassing your own people is horrifying.

Wow, the Reuters article is horrifying.

Whether you think he’s guilty or not, everyone is entitled to a legal defense. We used to just hang black men for any perceived slight, maybe we should go back to that?

Hmm that’s one way to do it. What about instead, though, just doing a stream of consciousness thing, while also not breathing, until you almost pass out?

Holocaust minimization/denial by the White House press secretary is a real story, though. It’s not a distraction, unless you think it can’t happen again.

I mean, his clarification was basically that Hitler may rounded up and gassed a lot of Jews, but even he didn’t go *into towns* and drop said gas on innocent people. On his own people.

You’re doing a really good job coming off as calm right now. :)

    They’re a family of grifters!

    Lol, you’re so angry. :)

Cities control zoning, allow development projects to go forward, and can issue or deny all kinds of permits related to construction. When a city allows developers to do whatever they want, wherever, without regard to the needs of the neighborhood (i.e., affordable housing) that’s a choice. So yeah, a lot of this is

I definitely agree with your point about being vigilant about the Republican Party, because they don’t seem to value democracy so much lately.
