Canada technically has a queen but still seems relatively modern and free. I wouldn't call Canada undemocratic. And the US already has socialism too, just not as much. It ebbs and flows.

There's racism against Jews, many of whom are ostensibly white, and much of which is based on an assumption that they dominate society. Meanwhile there's racism in Asia that non-Asians can barely comprehend. Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme.

Ending bigotry does require winning people over. Elections do too.

Kind of, to an extent, but no not really. This election was very close and Trump was no match for a politically competent opponent. There is still a market for truth.

Agreed. I wish we could focus more on the privilege aspect though. It isn't about what they look like, it's about what they do to others.
