If this is an undercover car, the wheels are more of a dead giveaway than the radio switches. Who doesn't have 19 inch alloys on their 3-series?

As a former resident of YOS (don't ask...) I can say one thing almost without hesitation - this sentence means NOTHING. That over-paid crappy kiddie jail has an absurdly high churn rate if you ignore their prepared statistics. She's getting off with a slap on the wrists - and will spend time with a group of peers who

What have gas prices done to my car purchase planning?

@narf: Except LS1/BMW's are becoming rather pedestrian. One of the sponsors on my fav. BMW forum has a LS1 conversion kit for more recent 3-series. Still vote for it though - powerslides in that thing are going to be like sledding in a saucer!

My BMW has a real time MPG gauge, and it's simply amusing - it actually calculates approx MPG in real time, so it's positively useless because it moves so much.

"died from a combination of methamphetamine intoxication, an enlarged heart due to long-term drug abuse, and Taser shocks."

@daleks: Because even the 135I is a piece of flame-surfaced crap. I like Bangle, I like the shape of this car, but what were they thinking when they made the chassis out of lead and the suspension out of depleted uranium? The helm is simply unresponsive - and I drive a 740 everyday.

Unfortunately - as inflated as this car is, it is just following the Precedent; I really wish that hip millionaires would stop artificially driving up the prices of cool cars. Am I going to buy a Cali in the near future? Probably not. But this effect is driving up the prices of everything - see first-gen Camaros and

@billege: Your logic, although making perfect sense, has a major flaw - if the small car gets 41, and the truck gets in the 20's..... The car is still twice as efficient, and you should incentivize people to drive the car.

So the story is apparently that this was his dads M5 - no word yet on whether he had permission to drive it or not. He was driving it for a few days prior at least. The story is really sad and spooky.

@ BMRFILE - Except BMW has hotter sales today than they have had in any period since... ever?

From the forum in question.... Just sad....

RWD Auto - doesn't really matter what they mount there, you can find a decent manual to fit!

Colorado. Second the Suburban, but only in 4WD. Yukon Denali's count - still a million times more stylish than an escalade. But yeah, anything suburban shaped with a GM tag.

Having replaced my own window glass exactly once, ITS NOT WORTH IT! I can't stress enough how much shorter the cutter will make your life if you don't know what you are doing - and I am talking about stress, not just physical injury.

It went to the salvage yard in the sky (courtesy of a 99 Jeep) about 6 months ago, but we had a unique bird for about 2 years. Take 1 Pumpkin Orange Thing, Saw in half, and remove the back seat. Shorten the floorpan, and put a gasser 1800cc in the back of it.

That picture doesn't do it justice - it looked fab. I don't know how this could be a FWD, but I don't have the blurry sideshot to give a better idea of the proportions.

Anyone who cares has been watching it on www.finalgear.com for ... years.

Props to all you discussing this at all. I could make a bloody book deal with the responses to this alone.....

Hate to burst everyone's bubble.... But most 21 year olds STILL wont be able to afford a 10 year old viper in 10 years.
