In her first appearance Elsbeth mentions having a son who gave her her computer (I guess her son would probably be a little older than Alicia's kids, so that fits, he could no longer live with her) but then when we see her apartment she appears to live alone, and that interaction with the dog was not one a parent of

Also, we're gonna get some good Peter stares next episode.

My main observation here is that Alicia and Jason seem to be really into each other. Like, actually relationship-worthy type of into each other. Her early dalliances all had huge flaws (Peter is an asshole, Will is dead, Johnny was her employee, Finn got back with his wife, etc.) but this is the first one on the show

Well, we don't know if Hope Davis knew. We never know if she was actually good. She volunteered to stay back, but that could well have been so she could let the abbies in or something. She may have always been working with the kids, we'll never know.

A S2 outside of WP, searching for more people, would be perfect. Although scientifically not super sound.

I would have been most pleased with an ending that showed some acceptance of the abbie situation and also explained the environment a bit better, like setting out in search of a new safe haven or the book ending, which I won't explain but you can find here. That would include cooperation but be much less boring.

He did have a head injury. It's possible he was knocked out for a while, during which time the takeover happened, and put in the coma to be sure.

Also, I just don't find gore scary. I guess it's because I don't live in a world with gore, in my quiet big city side-street, blood is not really a trigger for anything. But creepy is much worse, because our minds generate creepy without any outside factors.

It would be a bit repetitive, yes, but Charlie Tahan is a big problem. He can't headline a show. I'm reluctant to praise Matt Dillon, who sort of limped around everywhere, but at least you understood he was smart and a big shot in the Secret Service. The boy is a slightly stiff and undermotivated teenager, and there's

Oddly enough, for a viewer with limited knowledge of famous actors, a lot of the people DID look like clones. Tim, the resistance guy, has the same face as Pilcher. Beverley and the receptionist could be slightly altered versions of each other. It's not outlandish.

The abbies got past her, and I doubt they'd just have left her lying there. Plus, there was a bit of a final goodbye going on with her husband. We don't KNOW, but it's a safe bet.

I just learned that Hope Davis majored in cognitive science. I'm a bit concerned.

Starring everyone who fails to win an election earlier in the year!

Also Pam got fifteen years to ask them how often they were having sex.

Wow are you formerly known as Prince?

I could not help myself when Ben got bonked with the metal.

I think we learn in Ep. 5 that she used to be a hippie drug addict and had just gotten out of jail when she tagged along with her brother. She seems to be slightly unstable, like maybe she wouldn't be super reliable as a mother or caretaker- she's very able to switch between terrifying and nice and gets emotional

The murder shack was never explained. I think it's just a sign of general anarchy. I was so creeped out by WP for episodes 1-4. Then it got scary, and scary and creepy are very different. But I thought the transition was smooth enough, largely due to the fact that Hope Davis' voice causes more panic within me than a

Funny, MSNBC's The Cycle was canceled today.

I just wanted a sort of happy ending. Thinking about it, that was never in the cards- obviously Ethan would always have the tension with him and Theresa, he had made this big mistake, etc. But it's sad that all the resistance work and especially Pam never got the utopia they wanted so badly. And I KNOW they aren't
