Apparently the book ends totally differently,
Apparently the book ends totally differently,
At least, it's not really true. History repeats itself and gets better and better until hopefully we can kind of see where we're going and try to stop it. But if Ben Burke is going to save the world now, I don't think we have much of a chance. "Uuuuuuuhhhhh…. guys, look, it's a fence."
I don't know, I just feel… cheated. Like, all that, and NOTHING happened? We're right back where we started? I like it cinematically, but it's really a downer.
I couldn't tell if Hope Davis wanted to help. I got the sense she genuinely was going to let the abbies in or something, thus killing herself but also the rest of them. Maybe that's just because she's a creepy person, but that's a VERY sudden change of heart.
"You don't know you're preternaturally interesting! And that's what makes you preternaturally interesting!"
Oops. 0_o, not cool.
I'll try my best.
1. The abbies are bogus science. They mention a climate change mutation.
2. That part's also weird, I think a lot of it was pure luck that he ended up being right.
3. He's a billionaire with a huge tech company.
4. He didn't have enough volunteers, he explained. He anticipated needing to "refresh" the…
He didn't. Everything outside of WP was in 2014, everything inside, or in the surrounding woods, was 4028. So he captured Theresa and Ben in 4028 so they'd stop messing around with the Secret Service lookking for Ethan, then presumanbly froze himself and came back.
Not asking in a mean way, I love your reviews. Just timing my sleep.
Alex, when can we expect a review tonight?
Open to a shot of that stupid kid in a hospital gown. See pretty girlfriend dressed like a porn nurse with half a bag of makeup. "Mr. Burke?" My mind immediately jumps to "We'll have to do a… thorough medical exam" and then he wakes up and realizes WAIT everything to do with sex in this town is so messed up. Turns out…
What?
I'm actually breathing hard after the finale just ended… Waiting for the review to come out to start commentning.
I would enjoy watching Key and Peele in pretty much any situation.
Yes but he understands that they're all operating under Kate and/or Harold, so I guess the only thing was to make sure they wouldn't blow up the fence. But once they were safely accounted for, he didn't really have much to do with them.
Ooooh, twist! The ABBIES are the good guys.
Oh, I'm SO with you. I've grown affectionate towards Pam. I just hope she doesn't die… when she offered herself up as the final sacrifice she seemed genuine and I do hope that's not foreshadowing. Though I'm sure Leo could act the hell out of a tragic death.
Yeah, but I would sympathize a lot more if she confronted him or at least acted like she was something besides a wronged wife. She's always sort of meek and trying to forget about it, which I totally understand as an instinct in real life, but doesn't make for a very compelling lead chatacter.
I like that! My grandma once decided to clean out all her games and had me choose between Chutes and Ladders and Parcheesi to take home as a present and I chose a third option (neither), so I guess there was a little religious rebellion going on there.
When they found the girls I totally broke down.
