Galadriel was “nice”? Did he perceive the nice in the scene where she wouldn’t let the elves under her command rest or stop when one of them fell? Her character is more like the terminator, and clearly not yet like the Galadriel that shows up centuries or millenia later in the later films. I guess if you’ve decided

Almost every male character so far is a coward, a jerk or both. Only Galadriel is brave, smart and nice.”

“I love it when the sun can turn a living thing to stone.... What!!!! non-white Elves!!! That couldn’t happen.”

coward, a jerk or both. Only Galadriel is brave, smart and nice

How these arguments usually go:

Lord these people are just so lame. For a group that spends so much time insisting they are being silenced conservatives really don’t seem to know how to shut the fuck up. Between the bitching over this and the bitching over House of the Dragon I cannot fathom having such a small and empty inner life that this, of all

being outraged about the skin color of a fictional character from a piece of fictional content set in a fictional world....

Tolkien: Galadriel is the most powerful and important of the elves.

White Conservative Tears should be the next Mountain Dew flavor.

Let’s get real here. Elves are actual tree hugging descendants of fairies that defend the forests with entire armies and magic.

I love the show.

I truly can’t wrap my head around people caring what color the elves are. A part of me feels like I want to understand, but I’m too afraid that if I get that far, I’ll be too far gone.

It’s based on the French Cursed Kings and the War of the Roses and other events. It’s not an alternative European history but it’s inspired by real events.

It’s the limitations that Rings of Power must work within that make it the more enjoyable series so far. The violence is going to be more implied than shown; rape isn’t going to be a plot point. If good people fail, it will be because of their pride and hubris, not their kindness. You can say that the Lord of the

Žižka is much-mentioned in Sapkowski’s Hussite Trilogy, though the events take place after his death. It’s a fascinating period, and surprising just how powerful the Hussites were in opposing the Catholic church a hundred or so years before Luther. And how radical some of their ideas were.

People familiar with the source material for this show will know heterosexuality isn’t quite that compulsory for all the characters.

Shoulda resigned with crudité.

I’m always amazed by fools who can accept a dragon that wears a top hat or a big green thing that’s all muscle and can life a oil tanker but... a black Hobbit walking 50 feet in the background of a shot and they’re all...

You get my comment of the day sticker. Seriously 50 Marvel films and 6 have a female lead and these sad guys say their toys are being taken away and they’re history ruined.  This series is so fun, just give it a chance and enjoy :)

Why are douchebags so mad that the other 50% of the population is finally receiving its due? Have the scores of other all-male superhero shows/movies disappeared from the canon? Are they not still making superhero shows with male characters? Oh, they are, cool.
