I think they are Ice Giants or from Jotunheim or something like that.

She’s not accidentally pregnant. Bene Gesserit can fully control their fertility (even sex of their offspring). She was hoping that giving birth to that daughter they all wanted could stall the fall of Atreides but it was too late.
Spice is not sandworm poop. It comes from substance excreted by the sandtrout (the tiny larval form of sandworms) into the water they sequester. This mix of water and sandtrout is what sandworms eat. It can also explode to the surface and dry out becoming spice.
It’s still creepy to turn execution/suicide method into jewelry
Of course, it’s still boring nitpick. These are different universes than MCU. In the Captain Carter and Ultron Won universes Natasha might’ve known her father’s name. After all we saw that in many cases more than one thing differed from MCU.
Yes, they gave themselves a way out of any of those “but in comics” nitpicks instances by saying each set of Infinity Stones is a little different and works a little bit differently. This means some Infinity Stones may not work in other universes but others may (we saw Strange’s Time Stone working in Ultron’s universe…
Peggy says her father’s name was Ivan but her da’s was Alexei. The first one is the one Natasha didn’t know about in the Endgame.
Her first album was a Dune tribute and her recent Met Gala outfit included original mask from Lynch’s Dune movie. Apparently, she’s a big fan. This is probably because she’s so disappointed the new movie is doing pretty good even though they didn’t let her consult on it.
Her Dune cosplay is kind of cool. Would make great Halloween costume.
But I’m pretty sure they’d rather have clickbait titles and higher number of unique visitors than us
Yes, and I feel like they want this for all the sites
I’m more and more convinced that all this is done on purpose to get rid of the commenters or at least destroy the community. It’s not like it generates income. And Herb seems like a guy who would order it out of spite. And the fact that no one ever reacts to our complains just makes it more likely.
But Loki established, in one of its great early twists, that the Infinity Stones of one reality are useless outside of that reality.
It’s great. I saw it in IMAX and it was worth it. It’s still a very condensed version of the book but mush closer to it than Lynch’s.
I saw it in IMAX. It was awesome.
The setup for the episode is that Odin, rather than “adopting” (read: kidnapping) baby Loki after his battle with the Frost Giants, returns the little blue boy to his rightful kin and goes back to Asgard to focus on raising Thor.
Yes, I’m sure that N’Jobu and Nakia weren’t the first spies who come to realise Wakanda should be doing something about all the world injustice instead of just standing by and I’m sure that there might’ve been instances when Wakanda tried and it went bad (the dangers of interventionism are clearly visible at the…
In the meta perspective, for us Wakandan superiority feels a bit cathartic - the people who are treated the worst are the best. They are the shiny city on the hill.
I actually liked how Wakanda was portrayed thinking of anyone outside their borders as other when Killmonger tended to think of all Black people as his people. After all the way we divide people in groups by origin (continents) and looks (skin colour) is by itself also product of colonialism. Wakanda was created as a…
I was really excited for this episode but it ended up being one of my least favourite ones. I thought at first I was uneasy about it because they killed off Tony for like 4th time in the series and this time after showing us his scrifice again. Or that watching Chadwick Boseman’s character death was just too sad.
