I think the lesson Phil learns in this episode is that his friends already had to watch him die. Some even multiple times. It’s his turn to be there for others. Losing people is inevitable as long as death exists and we’ve seen what trying to avoid it can lead to on this show. Still, it’s not like he completely doesn’t

I just wish the show would show the heroes have some positive sexual experiences and not go from one horrible one to another.

I kept thinking that even if she has return ticket she just ruined her passport in the water so that can be a mess.

She was awful but this was similar to the Terry’s thresome in Italy. It was all based on false premises and it’s understandable she feels used. She not really wrong in kicking him out. She’s wrong in basically everything else (even her hair).

Right? He seemed like the bad guy of that season and they start him off so creepily. But in the end he was the best of them all.

Eh, what is sci-fi good for if not making death not permanent? Especially comic book based one. Especially this show.

Yes but every time she dies she starts from 0 and then figures it out after first loop and wakes him after second so they lose like 2 km right there and then another one for getting her up to speed. He has reasons to be annoyed.

I love that newer time loop episodes (at least for Earth based shows) have people not aware of loop believing pretty fast. It’s such a popular type of storytelling device that by now everyone knows it and they are like “oh, we’ve done this before - tell me what to do”.

Still, I’m upset Enoch’s death was this big lesson for Phil. And that he had to die at all. I mean it’s a Wheadons’ show and he’s a beloved character whose role grew over the seasons so I was afraid of it for a while (not to mention they killed him once already) and losing Davies was bad enough.

I think we were all excited at the promise of AoS doing a time loop episode and the show delivered. I loved that everyone was so genre savvy that they are completely unfazed (except for Sousa - his face only looks like that) when Daisy says “I’m time-looping”. And it only takes Daisy one loop to realise what is

Maria’s mother died of tuberculosis. It’s the bloody handkerchief follows the family longer than Nobels.

You can go to the TV club tab. That’s what I do and it’s usually still pretty close to the top on Tuesday evening.

I have bad childhood memories of bidets (child sanatorium hygiene was not fun) so I stick to toilet paper generally but it does seem like a much better alternative.

People throw diapers and baby wipes into trash and how is that different? But yes, it’s really best not to use them at all.

Maybe because I don’t find it more gross than fish guts or maybe because I’m a woman and you can’t flush tampons (that really destroys your plumbing) but I’d rather have them in trash and go to solid waste disposal (if you really need to use those wipes).

Those wipes aren’t flushable, no matter what they say. Flush enough of them and you can add AND HOLY JESUS PLUMBERS COST MORE THAN A CAR TO CLEAR MY CLOGGED DRAINAGE PIPES to your list.

Sibyl said his chances of survival back in 1976 were 22%. Since she’s using him now I assume she sent someone to up them.
