You would think that wasting screeners’ time would matter enough to the organization that they would be demanding the technology be better. That’s valuable time the could be spending watching for people trying to smuggle in teeny tiny liquor bottles. But singling out women (and men) with hair that isn’t the “norm”

I am told there are. I’m not sure I believe them. I do, however, believe there are women who think that someone might look so much worse without the beard that they’re willing to put up with a lot of beard.

I almost wish the caramel and salt thing haddn’t taken off the way it did because when it’s wrong its such a tragic waste of sugar.

I do think there needs to be an addendum that basically says “if fried chicken or similar is served, the host has just declared this to be either a family gathering or a picnic even if you are seated with Heads of State.” Although for people who are nervous about looking bad in front of judgy people the rule of doing

Yeah, I think I was just having a low-cynicism day when I wrote that.

These are fair and valid points.

Not really, but I believe they might have told her that.

I’m sorry, that wasn’t a hair-related question.

I think we’re all making an assumption about her inheritance - what if everything goes to charity? In which case she does have to get a move on while they’re still footing the bills.
