I was pretty much assuming that anyone who didn’t mention the tattoos was trolling at least a little bit.

I loved this game. Dolphins! Zombie ostriches! Aliens! it was so extremely weird and fun. And the music was nice too.

My heart goes out to everyone who was hoping and working to find her. And especially to the poor department of Public Works employee who found her.

I’ve probably touched a skateboard twice in my life but even I had heard of Thrasher Magazine - but it wasn’t until I saw King of the Road on Vice that I realized they’d built a whole family around it. I’m so sorry for all the people who are going to miss him.

Is it wrong that I really feel like we need to talk more about how her grift is so impossibly lazy? I mean, if one has to be a grifter, one could at least be an interesting grifter. But she can’t even manage that.

I’ve been wondering how calls he made for the number of arrests they were able to make. Did anyone figure it out?

King Arthur Flour recommends greasing the pan and then lightly dusting it with sugar right before pouring the batter into the pan - the sugar will stay liquid in the heat and help the cake slide out as long as you get to it quickly enough. Although I don’t think that would help with the fancy pans, those are just

“Honey! Stop trying to make something of yourself- we’re trying to do it for you!”

Well it seems that 32 or 33 are the 95th percentile so it seems that she’s not a bad test-taker; her parents just don’t want to risk anything. If I were actually a good student and they made it seem like my work didn’t matter at all, that would hurt so bad.

I could see that if they were close to having the scores they could believe they got in on “intangibles” or “oh you must have really impressed them at the interview” or something like that. And aboiut being registered as an athelete: it’s really easy to believe there’s been an administrative mix-up since they aren’t

I considered it at the time - but there just isn’t the money in being a bottom-shelf liquor spokesperson that I thought there would be.

By the third example it was just depressing.

They failed to teach their kids to work at anything - because they weren’t willing to put the effort in to actually, y’know, parent.

The kid who wants to get the better score on the ACT is my favorite - she’s got drive!

...it must be concluded that, in 1933, Germany had a problem with Jews, and Hitler was merely reacting to the demands of the electorate by providing a <ahem> solution.

This is my worry - that some rich superfan will help him flee the country to some place that doesn’t have an extradition treaty with the US. And he’ll just get to keep going.

Donated!

I remember that too, although it might be regional.

We really didn’t do it right for centuries. It’s just that people who didn’t eat optimally got sick and died and it was considered normal.

There isn’t even a Wikipedia page for the title! Does France have a Debrett’s?
