I really think a better understanding of processing disorders is going to be a huge game-changer for treatment of cognitive disabilities - from traditional learning disabilities through the autism spectrum. Like when genetic testing became advanced enough to upend a lot of taxonomic classifications. 

This is why I hate mirrors in restaurants - I am a parakeet apparently; I will watch my own reflection no matter what.

I literally felt a little bit dizzy reading that. I’m happy she isn’t letting the mustard industrial complex make her decisions for her, but still...

Is that what this is? Because I have all of my agendas from high school and I’m a Taurus. (I don’t believe in astrology and I’m absolutely a Taurus and I refuse to acknowledge that those two things shouldn’t exist in the same person.)

I spent so much of my time at parks and things when I was a kid being upset because people weren’t following the rules. Probably my favorite picture (now)I took at the Grand Canyon* was of a man feeding a deer a Cheeto right in front of the “do not feed the deer” sign. At the time I was incensed. 

Yellowstone is great for people with mobility issues - that was the last trip I got to go on with my grandparents before my grandmother died. She had a bad hip so all the boardwalks were perfect for her. Sure, we weren’t particularly hardcore, but it was still a wonderful trip. 

She was who I thought of when I had to deal with being harassed at school a few years later. 

And all the near-death experiences would foster a sense of gratitude for life and love for all of humanity! 

Jolie, what do you think about soap that’s specifically for cleaning breast milk? (The bottle says it also works on clothing.)

But they are still more fun than spraying weed-killer. (grumble, stupid *laws* won’t let me kill damn bermudagrass with fire like it deserves, grumble, <kicks clump of weeds>)

It’s the smirk that’s keeps me from being 100% sure.
