I literally stopped reading the article and scrolled down to the comments for an answer to this. I am a Brit and I was not aware you guys said this differently but apparently neither were you....

This profoundly alarmed me, that “Kelly” might be like “Sioban” and pronounced absolutely nothing like it’s spelt, and I’ve been making an idiot of myself my entire life.

...all of whom pronounced my name like it rhymed with “telly”...

I just want to take a moment to appreciate you for being here with an appropriate reality tv GIF for everything. Well done and thank you for your diligent service to this community/doing the Lord’s work.

I wish the Comment of the Day still existed, because this right here is a quality comment.

Eh.

I used my gift movie pass for it (so I saw it for free!) went in with low expectations and thought it was cute. I loved Maya Rudolph and the actor that played her husband. It was predictable but I was not expecting a deep study on divorcing empty nesters :)

in this fictional Midwestern university (I’ve chosen to believe it’s Decatur, Illinois, and not Georgia)

This has nothing to do with her being an immigrant; she had a mental illness, refused to treat it and her family engaged in a coverup on her behalf. Plenty of Americans have engaged in both of those behaviors. The tragedy is that those kids are dead and those parents hearts are shattered, don’t pretend that Yoselyn

No, she is a psychopath. Full stop. Her race or nationality have nothing to do with that. To say that it does is to do a disservice to the millions and millions of law-abiding immigrants in this country trying hard to make a good life.

An apologia for a child murderer.

Temporary insanity?!? Did you not read her statement where she expresses no remorse and makes herself the victim? I’m sympathetic to immigrants, but she killed two children and not only isn’t sorry about it, is whining that she got caught and even expects people to feel sorry for her over it.

Eh? Not even “my bad,” the weak-tea of apologies? Damn.

I’m mildly pissed that the warning wasn’t there when I read it.

At least put the spoiler tag in the title or the beginning of the article. Some people care about spoilers & your attitude is inconsiderate.

The sad truth is that a state vs. state show would be a phenomenal success because Americans hate each other.

Eh? Thanks a bunch!

okay, but...you not only gave away a major spoiler but told us how it ends? Review Writing 101: don’t do either of those things.

Wow. You, uh, you just threw that spoiler right out there didn’t you. The entire crux of the film revolves around that reveal. It is way too soon to give away the movie like that without a spoiler warning. I know you have a bunch of these comments already, but it’s worth repeating. You messed up on this one.

Also, because most of the work Cohen did for Trump was not legal work, but deal-making, including building projects in Georgia and Ukraine, his records would not be protected by attorney-client privilege. He was an executive with the Trump Organization and not a member of the company’s legal team.
