I’ve read a bunch of Disney reviews where people have met him at Disneyworld (Night of Joy or somesuch? He’s appeared there several times?) and he’s always described as consistently nice and friendly.

As an lady of a certain age, I find his looks and demeanor terribly off putting. That being said, he seems like a nice young fella and I hope they are happy together.

Darlene is a recurring character on The Big Bang Theory, which is the top sitcom on network. So in addition to the talk show gig, she’s still been acting for the past many years on that show.

I suggested Rose O’Donnell, who is only half as crazy as Roseanne Barr, and renaming it “Rosie”.

To be fair, I watched the first two episodes of the reboot (aired back to back, so one viewing), and there was as much attention paid to the characters who had liberal viewpoints such as Jackie, DJ and Darlene as to Roseanne’s conservative views.

I would watch the shit out of “Darlene”. That was always my favorite character (followed by Jackie and Dan) on the original show.

Posted this a few days ago, but I was Facebook friends with Roseanne about 9 years ago and she was already just completely batshit crazy. This was on her personal page so I can only assume she was not playing to the masses, but showing her real self. I only lasted a few months.

I can’t get past the fact that she’s wearing a skimpy top and skirt that one would wear in the summer, and he’s wearing a long sleeved top, with a... WHAT exactly I don’t know, but it looks like a jumper on the top and a bag on the bottom. Just layers and layers of hotness.

Yet here you are, flogging your thoughts online.

That’s what’s strange about it - there was another guy right there. Why didn’t he grab the kid?

Change the name to “Rosie”, keep the same cast and swap Roseanne out for Rosie O’Donnell, who is only half as crazy.

I can understand how a serious actor like Rickman felt yoked to an 8 movie commitment in a children’s fantasy series, seeing how the books (and Snape’s story)were truncated, and the day to day challenges of acting with children - all must have been a drag.
