Grab a hankie.
Never was a casting director more prescient. Casting that little girl, who turned out to be a fantastic actress as she grew.
I don’t see her, but supposedly she’s on board. My favorite character from the original show!
He does not look a day older.
I honestly think Hildi thought her designs were great.
SILK FLOWER BATHROOM! At least you could (sort of) clean plastic flower walls.
I thought it was fun and twee, but can you imagine cleaning that?
When the show was at its zenith, they pumped out several coffee table books, one with every single episode detailed, with color photos, one with design tips related to certain shows, etc. They all ended up remaindered and I got 3 different ones for $1 each. The hay wall! The covered fireplace! The flowered bathroom…
I loved those movies, my kids loved those movies. Would not share with a grandchild. in retrospect.
A little OT, but Caroline is not ‘snooty’ in the movie - part of the reason Sam is so sad that she’s Jake’s girlfriend is that she’s actually fairly nice for a popular girl and even ‘has a deaf brother and knows sign language’ (or something like that). She turns to Sam in the hallway and greets her when Sam is crying.
Goodness, I DEFINITELY didn’t mean it that way. My former husband is gorgeous (ergo, I married him) with long straight black hair, a nose that could cut stone, high cheekbones and lovely dark brown eyes. He studied Mayan hieroglyphics for a hobby and I imagined him walking right out of one of his ancient scrolls.
My former husband’s (and forever father of my kids) mother was Guatemalan, and he has black hair and brown eyes. (Though some of his sibs have a lovely black hair and light blue eyes combo courtesy of their father.) Not him though. He looks like a Mayan hieroglyphic.
It’s more for genealogical purposes. Mortimer would have had to, in advance, agree for his name to be tied to his sample.
I knew what you were getting at with your original comment, yet understood thiscitysuck’s feelings, too. But what a wonderfully contrite and well written response.
I read something recently (sorry, can’t remember the source, but someplace reputable) that 1 in 6 children have different fathers than is suspected.
I would put up with many things from a date but bad tipping is the all time killer.
I’m sort of blind, so I’d love to see that in super slo mo.
“The female shooting suspect was identified, by two law enforcement sources who spoke to CNN, as Nasim Aghdam.”
Was this edited out or cut out? I’m imagining this jackass sitting down next to a massive pile of yearbooks and laboriously, hatefully excising each one.
