Asking the question is pretty normal given that people may not know who owns the specific rights in this case.

Both versions of this story are filled with comments from people who want to know that she isn’t profiting from this “before they buy the game.”

I’m also in a bad mood about Nintendo, but granted they did kill my puppies in cold blood back in June.

The WB statement is nothing but PR spin. It says she isn’t directly involved in the game. Of course she isn’t, she’s not a game designer.

This, and also the fact that you sometimes reclaim a farm or village, discover that people have moved back into it.... and there’ll be a house with a section of the roof on fire.

Dumb design decision. Some loading screen with tips and/or story exposition let you take your time with a confirmation button after the actual loading finishes. Let the downtime be at the whim of the player.

This review said a lot of positive things about the game...

iirc, even Trent ceded Johnny’s version as superior and basically said “It’s his now”. Yeah, here’s the direct quote: “Tears started welling up,” Reznor said. “I realized it wasn’t really my song anymore. It just gave me goose bumps up and down my spine. It’s an unbelievably powerful piece of work.”

“To see if I can win...”

I played a video game today...”

Defunding the police isn’t about anarchy: it’s about justice and harm reduction. Cops are much more likely to be domestic abusers. They don’t do shit about sexual assault cases. Their unions refuse any sort of meaningful oversight and consequences for egregious professional behavior and they actively pass around bad

I’ll let Chris Rock respond:

You need everyone to be alive because each person alive is a turn in a battle. If there are 4 enemies and 4 party members and one dies, the enemy will have one more turn or a 25% advantage in battle.

Oh, sorry, my bad--I saw the story headline and thought this was a Jezebel article on an entirely different topic. Carry on.

I would assume a lot of non-anime fans would be put off by both it’s reliance on some genre tropes(goofy pure-hearted character that’s simple but loves her friends), not to mention that it’s filled with cutesy underage girls.

Your opinion on Monster is positively disgusting.

Champloo always felt like a slimmed down, hip-hop take on Cowboy Bebop... perfectly fine and enjoyable, but the imitation comes up short to the original.

I’ve seen a lot of anime, though I’m also a major critic of most anime... and both Black Lagoon and Monster come up as mediocre in my mind. They do nothing to leverage the medium, and Monster in particular goes on and on and on... amounting to very little by the end. Should’ve kept it a concise 26 episodes, I think.

I mean, there’s always, uh... regulation? Not every single gray area needs to remain exploitable.

On the flipside, the internet as we know it couldn’t exist is companies were held responsible for the actions of private individuals using their services.
