HARD disagreement on X&Y. I enjoyed Mega-Evolutions. Granted, I’ve never been a part of the competitive scene, so YMMV, but shakeups to the meta are kpt an inherently bad thing. Those stat and ability boosts were what you weighed against the loss of items.
