Yeah. It would have been nice if he had actually had a direct confrontation with Han and Leila, rather than just tracking them to Bespin and calling in the empire.

I think it’s for size reference.
I wouldn’t say I hate it, but it’s not great. Exploration would totally be enough if every other planet wasn’t just a pallet swap of one I had recently been to. Found a few planets markedly different from some of the others I’d been to, but not many. Also, better things to find while exploring nooks and crannies would…
Cool.
I think he means that he was sold a 3DS that someone else got banned and returned to the store. He was the one screwed over by a pirate.
I think he means that he’s the one who got stuck with a pirated system that someone else returned. In other words, he’s the victim of the scam.
Clearly- CLEARLY,- the Wailord isn’t small and close. The trainer standing behind him is a titan. Or possibly is a giant trainer shaped mech. It is Japan after all.
Not to disagree with the general gist of your point, but we did also drop a whole lot of fire bombs in addition to the atomic bombs. We burned a whole lot of Japanese civilian population centers. Just a footnote worth noting.
Yeah. I’m finding that in Japan, it’s pretty anathema to openly criticize or bring up bad points of Japanese society. I think many people probably feel regret for those things, but even the ones that do tend to ‘politely’ avoid the subject. Then again, there are probably many who do deny it as well.
Yeah. A friend of mine who’s is also teaching here as a language instructor told a kid that he was an otaku (read American nerd). The whole room kind of just went silent.
Yeah. The entire time, I was thinking that it’s a shame that he dislikes the current generation for this, but those are for the most part pretty valid reasons to resent America.
I mean, they have. It’s just that usually the one having the fantasy is the tyrant.
I think because people objected less to the socialism part of the Nazi platform, and more about the mass genocide and authoritarianism. Just a wild guess though. For some reason when people start talking about the horrors of living in Nazi Germany, a single payer health care initiative never seems to come up. A…
Considering his lifestyle choices, a stroke or heart attack is not unlikely.
Quick, Matt! You are actively determining the future at this point! Make another future episode and name John Stewart and Stephen Colbert as running mates!
You beat me to it sir.
When did Warcraft become sci-if? That’s pretty cool.
And by “falling apart”, you mean “the economic powerhouse of the European Union,” right?
I think there’s a difference between banning paraphernalia and not teaching about it at all. Aren’t there many many museums displaying exactly what went down at the holocaust? Including a museum actually at Auschwitz?
It sounds like you are doing the teaching abroad thing as well. There’s some truth to what you say, but the impression I have gotten so far is that the bomb being dropped was the consequence they suffered for participating in war and what they did. But I will admit, I may very well just be imposing a American…
