@Noodle-Works: But isn't that in effect what the Boomer is? You don't control a crowd of zombies, but you summon a horde of them when you vomit and you also summon any nearby ones.

@Ursus-Veritas: Well, It's not a video game, but it has all the elements you described: [paizo.com]
@Mardoch: I feel a bit the same way. Of course I feel like that whenever any kind of series I'm interested in either ends or a favorite character dies. after spending so much time listening to their stories, getting to know what that character is like, and seeing them through so much, it's sad to know you'll never…
@battra92: well, now that you mention it... [paizo.com]
@ellegos: Hold on, where those the Weeping Angels? Awesome! I loved the episode Blink. I'd love to see more of those things.
@Ashurahori: Agreed. He did have a great run, but I'll shamelessly say I'd always love more. I console myself with the fact, that while I haven't seen this new guy's first episode yet, he has the potential to be even better. Tennant will probably always be my favorite though. Looks like Allonsi is being replaced with…
@abort_user: Wait: I'm confused now. Do you support these fans or hate them for being nintendo fans?
@Fluorine: Granted. What mainly has me worried is just the stance nintendo seems to have taken lately, and seeing as that's my console I bought back at the begining of the generation, well, I probably wouldn't make the same choice again. What really has me worried is the statement Nintendo made about a year or two…
@Rebochan: Had quite a bit of Steam pent up there didn't you? For the record, I have no problem with more people playing videogames. In fact as far as new players, I think that's fantastic. I'm fine with the people who play videogames changing, as long as it doesn't change the games themselves. As for claiming things…
@Fluorine: You may think that it's no skin off the core gamers bones, but the problem is when the easy RPG sells better, and they stop making the great ones. they focus on where the money is and drop the great games for the easy ones altogether.
@RockyRan: Well said. it's not about being part of an elite social group. it's about the hobby itself changing.
@BubbleF**kingBuddy: No more than anyone who takes being athletically gifted or academically as a validation. To each his own.
@AncientUnknown1: Aaaand... you base that on nothing.
@Rebochan: Not at all what he's saying. He's saying, and I agree, that for better or for worse (clearly to the core gamers disadvantage anyway) casual gamers are changing the industry and the games they make. No longer is the core gamer the one who is being catered too. Companies can market to more inexperienced…
As a core gamer, I don't see any problem with new people joining the hobby or the culture. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. However, when it comes to the super guide, I have something of a hesitation. It just seems like it's taking away some of the magic of facing the challenges of the game alone.…
@MellowJade: Actually, that's Raven Alexis. She's the female gamer in all the pictures. Also, a porn star.
@TheOmnitron: It's pretty much my favorite multiplayer game right now. L4D2 is great, but this one is less of a commitment to just pick up and play.
@CockroachMan: But there's the bit about the anouncer being the one who pays you...
@emwurst: No way will there ever be enough time to communicate to figure out who's who. The spy will stab you by then. I don't think it's actually friendly fire, that would change the gameplay way to much, and I don't think for the better. It would also make the spy class WAY to overpowered.
@LedRush: Sacrilege! Seize him at once!
