If it was the purpose, the defense would have been allowed to float other theories as to who killed Theresa, when there were SO MANY other people who had opportunity, who had violent pasts (Steven’s brothers, Scott Tadych) who lived on the compound. But they were banned from doing so.

I do think Avery should have been found not guilty. I’m not completely sure if he is innocent but I am 100% certain that Brendan is. Oh my god, my heart was breaking for that poor boy. He just wants to play his videogames!
