That is what I came here to say, he is not that way off base at all. Black children are the least likely to be adopted compared to children of other ethnicities. He shouldn't have bet his house on it, that was stupid, but its not inaccurate what he said.

That's sad. I understand their concerns, but a child getting a loving family and not staying in the foster program is always a good thing!

My cousin recently adopted an adorable child of color and has faced the criticism from plenty of people of color. But, you know what? I think his main point is right- and horrifying- a fair majority of 'pro-life' white Alabama residents would probably think twice were they told their daughters were pregnant with babies who weren't white. Too bad he caged it in the entirely wrong language.
