It was on fire when I got here

I have a doorbell camera but it doesn’t work at the moment- there was a shooting on my street and the cops asked for the footage- they didn’t believe me that it didn’t work- I had to show them my alarm panel with the saved footage ending a few months previously and after that orange exclamation marks, I could have

On my friends wrangler it covered up the fact that the spare was as bald as the other 4 tires on the thing

Wait they are adding steam power to EVs? will this be a boost system or a range extender ? great way of dealing with all the heat from the batteries, probably not a great idea for me in Northern Canada

In the 90s at an auto repair place I worked at some guy had a Knight Rider replica with a wheel like this- it was a pain to take on test drives as you had to hand over hand the wheel back after turning

Autobahn by Kraftwerk - you would think it was a driving song

I like the battery commercial where he plays it on car horns

Life is a Highway-go play on the white line

P80, I have that one plus a manual RN swapped 850 Turbo and a P1 V50 AWD manual, the quality difference shows, the P1 is nothing special but really fun to drive the V70 is a tank and the 850 is scary due to the tune and lack of grip

Plus the stock is intuitive

My dad had a 58 MBZ 219 with the horn ring turn signals- a buddy borrowed it and drove away flashing highbeams everytime he turned a corner

My wife’s V70 I picked up for $425 and drove it home with almost no brakes- 10 days and 1400 worth of parts later it was on the road and has been reliable for 4.5 years only needing brake rotors due to corrosion and today a new battery due to -24c

When I seem to estimate time something crops up that changes it- broken bolt, rust- some dreaded quarter ass previous repair etc

Great name for a van to hotbox inside

Probably will save them money on warranty issues- I remember a buddy bought a Civic SI, I went for a ride with him when it had under 100km and he was thrashing it up to the redline, said the salesman told him to drive it like he stole it. I know he had oil consumption issues later that were not dealt with through

Borgward, just because I like the name- I know some company is trying to do this though but it just looks like badging some Chinese Suvs

Yeah when you are looking around 2500 a paint job doens’t seem that bad- or plasti dip although that wouldn’t last past a couple of car washes on me

I have a friend who wraps commercial vehicles for a living, he started a side job doing personal cars like this and gave up after 3 as it was too much work and people wouldn’t pay- most of them they don’t dissassemble them

Did not suggest it before but I am in Canada and have contemplated bringing in a couple of 23 year old cars to drive for a year or so and then flog off to somebody in the USA
