The Turbos are not affected by the IMS issue.

There is no IMS on the Turbo or GT2/GT3

Am I the only one around here that really likes the 996 gen? I actually feel they’re better looking than 997 overall, especially for the lower models.

I’m sorry, but...

Bought a 996 Turbo when the economy tanked. It was a great bargain then, and they are still a pretty good deal now.

Agreed. Looking forward to that because I happen to like the way the Panamera looks.

It may have “ruined” the 996, but the 996 is still the best performance bargain available because of that. I think I’ll be in the market for an “old” PA soon enough, and thanks to this, it will be a steal as well.

I’m in the magazine world, and word through the grapevine was that Sardar Biglari bought Maxim cause he was rich and bored and thought it would be fun to attend parties with models and be a hot shot. No sane person adds a print magazine to their investment portfolio these days.

Thank you so much for taking those cases. I am happy to hear the victims of this legislation being compensated. And yes, I always thought that law sounded all manner of unconstitutional. Thanks for clearing up why it is still on the books!

I’m aware of civil asset forfeiture and have litigated a few cases where clients had property seized that was eventually returned upon challenge, and they were also awarded some compensation and attorney fees.

I’ve seen that video. But, the cops aren’t claiming this as their excuse for the seizures.

You're close, except for that whole due process issue regarding the seizure of property. The cops can't just go around taking things from people for no reason, and there is no reason for the cops to be silent as to why.

I hope jobs are lost over this.

how did we get to a place when police can just do whatever they want for any reason they want? if these guys have done something wrong, CHARGE THEM, otherwise, it was over 6 months ago and you guys are just drunk on power.

I would seriously ask the city if they would like to get sued now or later. No damn way I would take that sitting down.

Incarceration means those people get to go before a judge, a jury, and have the state give them a defense attorney. Civil forfeiture means the state takes your shit without a trial, jury, or due process. That is a blatant violation of the 14th Amendment and the only reason this loophole exists is because civil

Jason, please report the results of the Friday hearing, if you can.
