I think your assessment is fair. I have a 2010 Thruxton that I bought when I got back into riding after 15 years away from it. After about a year I had the engine bored out, a remapped EFI and added Ohlins. It had a noticeable improvement on the bike and I was happy with the outcome but for the money I understand why…
