it has just become weary for me. Bad food. Grumpy flight attendants. A hundred plus passengers crammed into a cigar tube. The novelty has worn off since when I was a kid.

oh my God. Kill me that article was so terrible. Please tell me it was satire.

Good for you that you can adapt which is critical in air travel. After 3 million miles on american and about a million each on United and Delta, I want to stab my eyes out at the thought of flying.

Agree re price range. Sold mine for 38k and pricing seemed pretty consistent when I comped it out. For anyone considering a 996 turbo or a 911 in general, it is a great place to start imho.

You sound like a 16 year old who has never driven either but he pictured it in your head.

it is a fact the 996 turbos have less issues including major engine issues than a regular 996. 'more time in the shop than driving' just shows you don't know what you are talking about.

agree. It is very easy to drive.

you have no idea what you are talking about re the stock 996 turbo. It is actually very easy to handle given the traction control and awd. I owned one for 8 years, drove it in all types of weather and tracked it. Bullet proof and in my opinion the 996 turbo is an under appreciated gem.

amen

He brought it up because your comment came across as pissy.

how'd that work out for Porsche?

That's simply not true. if the car is inspected and good at purchase I would put it against almost any brand of car in terms of reliability.

After owning a turbo for several years I would have no qualms about owning a 911 with this mileage as long as it had a good PPI.

on the planet where 911s are way way way way way better than a focus. Planet earth. Welcome home.

so much awesomeness!!!!!!!

Nope

beat me to it

they must be taking the 911 approach to 'new' designs.

ridiculous. I am sure the navy has never contemplated this. Sarcasm.

Realizing the vitriol I will incite for my next comment I will go ahead and say it anyways.
