You know, when I was in high school, during my super scary goth days, I wore red eyeliner around my eyes all of the time. It was freaking creepy and generated lots of stares. Now it's high fashion?? Check, please!

If you are uncomfortable with using the bathroom around your significant other, you need to date better people.
I'm still mad that Cookie Monster eats a bunch of veggies now. I don't want to hear about Elmo being whored out for veggies, too.
@Perhaps Not: There need to be more ads like this. I'm tired of seeing stick thin models; no wonder there are so many eating disorders affecting women! This ad was gorgeous and made me fully appreciate my body, because the women in this commercial were not toned and trimmed and airbrushed and dieted. They were…
Oh, boy, here we go again. People need to understand that, on shows like South Park and Family Guy, EVERYONE and EVERYTHING gets spoofed on. NOTHING and NO ONE is safe. That's the whole point, to create a show that can be enjoyed because everything gets made fun of; no one gets singled out.
I remember seeing Demi Moore for the first time when I was a kid watching Ghost. She barely looks any older!
The laptop keyboard's position looks really, really awkward.
@Enorym: Oh man, eew, what a horrible thought... Blegh! lmao
@macrumpton: I'm trying this, then. Wish me luck!
@JohnnySaber: It's so hard working another job when running a business on the side! The work day seems to never end. You're right that discipline is the key. I think if I had more discipline, I'd be doing a lot better managing two work lives and one social life!
@radink: Me too! I'm so sick of hearing about the iPad. It's nothing special at all.
@Joseph Garza: It gets rough being in the house all of the time, so I sometimes change it up and go to a public place with wireless. My business partner and I have also made a lot of business connections and pulled in new clients, because we met someone while at a Barnes and Noble, so it has its double perks! (:
I'm just now learning how to balance work and play, because it's true that they bleed into each other. You have to learn to create work time, and to let it go when that time is over. I realized that I needed to create stronger barriers when my work life started interfering with my personal life; someone very important…
@bluebears: Agreed; that's pretty damn interesting! I don't believe in the credibility of most "reality" shows, never mind an MTV show!
You're only a lush if you're drunk. (;
Google apps, all the way! I use them for my personal stuff, my business stuff, and my pen pal support group. I love me some Google!
@Dnyde: Thanks for the tip. That's good to know, because it's what I do already and I was hoping that would be enough. I haven't rubbed down my keys with anything lately, though I did spill milk on the keyboard and cleaned it up with some "natural" cleaner. It did the trick, and there's no sticky residue.
I'd totally forgotten about Sassy until now. I remember friends having issues of it and looking at it with them. I miss that magazine! I hope Tavi makes her own online mag; I'm going to go check out her blog right now.
Is anyone really surprised? Joan Rivers is an idiot.
Airbrushing is senseless, and I commend Britney Spears for showing the world that she is human, like the rest of us.
