I don't think she's any different than any other parent (from what I've seen in these videos, anyway). How many parents do you know that made their little kid take dance lessons or play football? Personally, I wouldn't enroll my kid in any activity unless I thought they wanted to do it, but most parents do everything…

@chévere? chévere!: My vision has been deteriorating since I was in second grade. Regular eye exams won't stop it, but they will upgrade your prescription so you can see.

I don't worry about costumes clashing with my glasses. They're a part of me, just like freckles and birthmarks, so it has never even occurred to me to only be a character with glasses.

@meltingcube: That's a really good idea. I have the same problem. What's going to kill me now is that I'm leaving my part-time job to be self-employed, which means no regular paychecks. I'm really going to have to get strict on myself!

Why does everyone keep ragging on Taylor Swift for writing about fairytale romance? I'm not even a fan, but even I know that she was a teenager when she wrote all of her songs for the albums she has out, and last time I checked, she still is a teenager! I give her a lot of credit for not writing songs about partying…
