Good advice. Also, keep your recycling bin right outside of your door; you're more likely to recycle if you don't have to walk up and down three flights of stairs to dispose of an empty Pepsi can.

@Andrey Goder: It's not about it being done twice. It's about common courtesy to others. You wouldn't want someone borrowing your place and then leaving it a mess, would you? If you've already got cleaning supplies on hand — which everyone does, unless they don't like living in a clean house — you'll spend no extra

@infmom: Looks more like scrapbook paper, to me.

@fuchikoma: I was thinking the same thing when I was reading this: "Whaddya mean? That's the best case scenario involving failure!"

I'm such a Google whore. I use Gmail for my personal email, and the Google mail app for my domains' email. I used to use Thunderbird, but I wasn't happy with it. I've found that Google works better for me, and I'm happy with it.

@Jeb_Hoge: It definitely doesn't look easy. I'd probably go for it, though, if I had a broken laptop.

Too expensive. If it were the same price as, say, the Nook, I might consider checking it out. Everyone loves a good gadget. But I hold fast and true to my books the way they are, and nothing is going to change that for me.

Here's something else you can try: Stop trying to pack more than what you can fit into one day. It burns you out. You need to make time for work and time for enjoyment, or else you'll end up completely and totally exhausted.

@TheFu: Agreed. I've been stepping around taking the leap, and now that I've decided to and have started to construct The Plan, I feel much better.

"...freelancing can easily add up to be more expensive than a nine to five job. ... I once spent a ton of money at Target when I had no money coming in..."

But it's *only* $499!

@FrankenPC: Sometimes, though, you're better off starting from scratch. Only sometimes. (:

@RenRen: My problem is that, once I start working, I don't know how to stop. I try to play before work, and sometimes sneak in little breaks for Zelda if I can.

Very, very true.

I'm always late, no matter what I do. This was perfect for me!

@humperdinck: I can understand dismissing "ilovethec*ck2010@aol.com," but everyone has to start somewhere. If a kid new to the game uses Comic Sans MS on their resume, I'm not going to toss them out if their resume was well written and showcases the skills I'm looking for.
