None of them are particularly good people. We'd be here for days if we compiled a list of all the terrible things Fitz, Mellie, and Olivia have done. I'll admit that I'm not a fan of Fitz, but I'm not going to pretend that Mellie and Liv have their hands clean.

Fitz: Let's not pretend I'm a good person.

I kinda liked the red gloves and the symbolism of her having blood on her hands.

I'll sit at your table. We can be the unpopular kids who are sick of the cynical cool kids who hate on everything.

I agree. I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch this season. The premiere pulled me back in. I didn't think Mellie would win, and I figured something would happen to Vargas, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon.

The BF and I went to a taping of The Price is Right last year. Drew Carey was super charming and had a great rapport with the audience.

Thanks!

I went back to college last year, and joined th African American student club. Me, being 32, forgot how extra woke 18 year olds can be.

Some of these folks need a Gatorade.

Damon, Ben and Jerry's has non dairy options! Their PB&Cookies is the truth!

I figured something tragic was going to happen this season based on some vague Facebook status from
friends and spoiler free discussions with my sister. I narrowly missed a spoiler about Sophia on XOJane of all sites, and just assumed that something bad would happen to her.

I some how managed to get this episode unspoiled. I avoided Vulture like the plague while I watched because of your warnings. Thank you for that!

I feel the exact same way. I consider myself to be a "woke" black woman. I totally understand why there are fans who are upset by what happened this season. I respect that.
But in the same vein I don't think those of us who thought the Pousseys plot line was well done should feel bad. The last 2 episodes gutted me.

I'm black and I thought it was a powerful statement. That being said I understand why people are upset and I respect that.
It's so easy to just kill off the black character and make it all about the white characters pain (Sleepy Hollow, I'm looking right at you). I think OITNB avoided that trope.
