Where? What breeder? I’m not saying there’s no cruelty, but there’s cruelty in every animal venture. But NONE of them involve starving baby animals as a culling method because it’s a ridiculously inefficient practice.

Unproductive Thoroughbreds aren’t kept in lovely expensive stables. Most are slaughtered and sent to France.
No it’s not. That doesn’t even pass the smell test. If you were going to cull puppies, you’d kill them, not slowly let them starve to death.
I’ve got a retired grey, and maybe it’s different in the US, but the industry has come a long way. Also Robbie was well socialized and in great shape when I got him.
Why do you think greyhound racing is far worse?
That’s almost a worse situation. That literally every convention event would by default have scantily clad dancers.
Also, I’ve put on these types of events, and that’s not how it works. Usually you’ll get a package with optional add-ons, but staffing (ie dancers) would definitely be specified.
And finally, there’s a…
Thanks. Thanks to everyone who responded. to be honest, I never thought much of the art form, but there’s a lot more going on than I ever understood. I mean I knew the moves were practiced and highly choreographed, but the constant in ring communication, and the quick thinking to bring the match to an end by shoving…
Aren’t injuries sometimes scripted in? Is there a wrestling safeword in case they really need to stop?
Agreed. In my own company, I often take the contrarian position. Because it’s a family company with my father as the chairman/founder, I’m in the unique position of being able to challenge his decisions and NOT risk my job.
This is why diversity is important in every field and business. It is easy to mistake a consensus for the right choice in any given situation. If we all agree, it MUST be the right thing to do.
A homogeneous group might come to a decision faster and easier, but it might not be the right one.
A diverse group might be…
That’s why it COULD have been interesting. If it had examined football culture, privilege, the history of the football industry degrading women etc. it could have been brilliant. Tie it in to Steubenville, Penn State, Peyton Manning, Ray Rice. Compare all the supporters. They all say the same thing. He’s a good man.…
Who’s the most famous person you knew growing up? I’ve got Tim Howard.
Actually, the review could be the most interesting thing they publish. an investigation into how this happened. Like a modern take on
Jimmy’s World or Shattered Glass
Depends. Is the biker a minority? Cause white guy in a pickup truck trumps minority biker in a court of law.
3-5k? Take it to small claims court. Limits are between $2500-$10,000 depend on the state. Filing fees are small. No lawyers. Default judgement if they don’t show.
I think this should also hold for major holidays. Ordering delivery on Christmas? Automatic twenty. Same goes for New Years (after 8pm) or Thanksgiving.
Eddie Murphy as a white guy on SNL.
I never understood the stupid paternalistic crap about having coaches who could “control” their players. Or intimidate them. These are adults in a business. In no other business would you define a good manager in those terms.
But if you hold of on actual news to maintain a relationship, you’re just an arm of their public relations department and not a journalist.
