The cat is supposed to be tranquilized before the flight (pill, not injection). I’ve flown with cats, both my own and other passengers, who snoozed the entire time because they were medicated, twice on cross-country flights.

If you’re on the plane because you’re literally moving and taking your pet with you, okay. Otherwise, agreed. Cats and dogs do not like flying. Being away from their owners for a while is much less stressful for the animals than taking a plane ride, with or without a cage, on a lap or in the cargo hold.

Literally everyone possible failed these young women. USA Gymnastics, MSU, the Olympic Committee, the coaches, the administrators, the trainers...everyone was complicit in destroying these lives.

Nice takedown. I think calling certain countries shitholes is what everyone is focusing on, but it isn’t the most racist thing about Trump’s statement. It is the sentiment that we don’t want people from those brown countries, just white ones like Norway that is the truly racists aspect.
