Public health, what about you? I work in injury & violence prevention and would love to do a PhD focused on gun violence, but there’s little to no funding for that so I think I need to wait until there’s more support for it (if I even do it, idk, just a dream at this point!).

Going to the laundromat is the worst. When I toured this apartment I was supposed to be getting one that had an in-unit washer and dryer, but it got taken before I decided to sign. My lease is up in May and I’m re-signing for another year so my dreams of having my own washer and dryer continue to slip farther away.

The laundry machines in my apartment SUCK so I usually save it for whenever I go to my parents’ who live in a Milwaukee suburb. I wanted my apartment to be nice and clean for when I got back from PR and that did NOT happen but now I’m soooooo close.

I got him a little over 4 months ago, and he’s about 7 months old. He seriously has SO. MUCH. ENERGY so he can be a little bit exhausting but I love him soooooo much <3

I walked home from work every day this week (which is about 2 miles) and went for a run today. It feels good! I also usually don’t wear makeup which doesn’t make me feel too bad when I do splurge on something because it lasts so long :-)

Last weekend I did a St Patty’s bar crawl, got preeetty much blackout drunk, and lost my wristlet that had my ID and credit card :-( it was fun though!
