He's actually really funny in Cuckoo. But small quibble. Andy Samberg was only in season 1, and while Taylor Lautner does play his son, he didn't join the cast until season 2. So they've never 'acted alongside' each other.

I don't think it IS a plot mess up, honestly. There were references in season 1 to something weird happening later that changed things. And the timeline Thawne came from had Barry becoming the Flash in 2020 and his mom not dying.

Actually, I don't think they have hit the reset button. In the end of season 1, there were at least two other flashes in that house. One, I guess, was season 2 flash trying to save his mom also. I guess the other, the one that waves Barry off from saving her in the season 1 finale, will be season 3 Flash here to fix…
