Probably similar, but with a bunch more championships to feed their ego. So, adjust accordingly.

As a resident of the state of Alabama who is not a fan of Alabama: pray for me.

I’m in KY, and never used the term growing up, but have finally capitulated as I hear it thrown around a lot. Wiktionary says it’s been around since 1929, so there ya go. Sounds better than ‘sock cap’ which also got used a lot as a kid.

I’m from the Midwest and I never heard of a “toboggan” you wear. Then again, my “from the Midwest” is Chicago, so, maybe it’s a rural Wisconsin thing.

It always sucks when a player gets blamed for a loss in the final seconds of a game as if the first 59 minutes didn’t matter. I know that it’s his job to kick routine field goals at a high percentage rate, but it’s also the job of the offense to score more than exactly 0 points throughout the rest of the game.

In our Cards Against Humanity game, we do have a card for Donald Trump’s half-flaccid penis.

Why does everything have to be some racially dividing topic? Can’t the NCAA administrators just be profiting off of free labor because they’re greedy pieces of shit?

Our position has always been that college athletes should be given a scholarship where they can attend school AFTER their sports commitments have been fulfilled.

Why pay them when you can instead not pay them?

I’d guess that players leaving early to play professionally make up such a small percentage of college athletes that it’s actually comparable to people who just drop out to take a job.

I feel like the article was pretty clearly aimed at those who *get* a lunch break, with the clear warning that if you don’t take it, you could end up like people in hospitals, who aren’t allowed one for a variety of reasons, some better than others. This is about problem PREVENTION for a large group of American

I get that, and with vet care, I can see it, but for human hospitals, where we have enough doctors and there is a LOT of money flowing, there is no reason to be so understaffed or poorly managed.

This begs the question, WHY, in the US, where we pay more for healthcare than any other country, are hospitals understaffed due to money problems?

Hospitals are so understaffed it’s not funny. I was a social worker on a busy med/surg floor, doing discharge planning. I am organized and hard-working, and have enough adrenaline to get things done, but I seriously felt like I did the job of 1.5 people, and I would say half our staff also had heavy caseloads, however

I’m just stunned he didn’t rape that sideline reporter who interviewed him after the game

The rapey one with the gray johnson.

I hope that rapist gets in another motorcycle accident and this time please let it be fatal

Depends on how financially strapped the hospital is.

I don’t think it’s “lost” upon anyone. It’s an irrelevant point in the debate. NDSU played 15 games this year, and a team that didn’t have a first-round bye could play as many as 16. This has been the basic system in place since 1986, and it’s similar at the Division II and III levels.
