Yawn. Translation: “I am an idiot. An uneducated idiot.” Out.

The pursuit of profit is not some purifying water which absolves the pursuer of all criticism.

Riiight, someone who claims that a person trying to earn a profit is automatically a dick, is lecturing me on being a jerk.

Can you made a ‘tidy profit’ and go home happy? Cool. Alternatively, do you know what your ‘tidy profit’ is but are deciding to drive prices up beyond what the average person might find reasonable, knowingly and willingly? Then you’re probably price gouging.

The American pharmaceutical industry.

Hard to say whether it will be a net positive or negative on their bottom line. There are marketing firms that make a lot of money doing research like this, although I am not sure this company hired such a firm.

What is the definition of price gouging? And why is them trying to sell their product, their property, in a way that they want a dick move? Capitalism.

Why should they give away something for free? Are they a charity or a non-profit of some sort?

Why is it total BS? Why don’t they have the right to sell parts of their product in a different pay model from what you expect?

At the time, it seemed like a dick move

Meh, implementation detail. How about comparing it to Miracast instead, which compresses and sends the entire screen or an app as MP4 video to a remote client?

Meh. That’s not that big of a deal. All it does is translate images into pixels, and send the data into the custom game, which internally renders the pixels by messing with blocks. This is about as impressive as the Vnc remote desktop client.

There is now a mod on PC that fixes the dialog system and lets you see everything that’s going to be said by your character. There is another mod that can silence your character and make it feel much more like FO3.

Air breathing turbine engines? Huh? Is this an atmospheric fighter? That’s a lot of weight and space allocated for a fighter that’s designed primarily for space combat. The fighter is also not aerodynamic enough to fight properly in atmosphere.

With that config the pilot won’t be able to see forward. He will just be able to see up. With the crummy SW tech, he also won’t get a AR helmet like the ones in the F-35’s.

To each his own. I suspect that it’s a question of acquired taste.

I’m not also made of money (another reason people might opt to buy a console)

Settings - good, you have control and ability to optimize the quality for what you prefer and hit your own performance/quality value. If you have an actual gaming system, the time quality will be a lot better than on console.

I am not hating anybody - I am explaining a different perspective for a different style of gaming. It is not a better or worse style of gaming, but depending on what and how you like to play, different systems would fit you better. Would allow you to have more fun for less amount of money.

Now playing

Kerbal Space Program - it’s a simulation game where you build rockets and use them first to get into orbit, then to the moon, then to other planets. Use different parts to build space probes, landers, airplanes, use all sorts engines and sensors, use the sensors to collect science data, research new parts, etc. It’s a
