I’m sorry, but how does this article fit into Lifehacker? I don’t remember Gina Trapani going on about LGBTQ issues. All this Politico-type stuff is getting irritating.

Jesus
people really need to stop confusing evolution with a change of opinion. Evolution is a survival trait. In the end, the people who work hard—at anything—are the ones who survive. Take that how you will.
or i could finish this level of candy crush.
Never asked for a cookie, and you have no idea what I actually do.
You are quite correct. I applaud you. We should. But we voted an orangutan into office, cebause who doesn’t love a good monkey movie on the TV, amirite?
Will do, thanks for telling me what to do, just like everyone else does all day long. I think I can fit 15 minutes’ worth of “practicing empathy” between dinner and the gym, maybe next Tuesday. Sooner if my significant other browbeats me enough, as in the headline of this article.
ETA: Pretending your personal opinion is “evolutionary reality” is silly. You really think other people are that dumb?
You’re making a subjective statement about what is “more evolved”. That’s dangerous territory.
Fair point: “Men suck, they blow, they oppressed us. White men are worse....Now, hey guys, do more for us!”
On a post telling everyone to speak up against things they don’t like, you post to be quiet and ignore things that we don’t like. Ohh the irony.
It’s an evolutionary reality. Sorry it bothers you. I don’t revel in it, it’s just that I’m not innately altruistic. I do give a crap, but it doesn’t drive me the way it would someone who is persecuted. I just prioritize. I’m not proud of that, but I think people need to understand the way it works.
I think the issue is more, when you shit on a group (gender) rather consistently then ask them to do something typically there isnt a lot of motivation there
I have been reading LifeHacker for years because of some of the useful tips. But I have had it. I am right middle of the road politically, voting about 60% Democrats in the last election. Unfortunately, all the Kinja have turned far too left to be useful for me. I come to get ideas and end up being bombarded with…
This is a lot more clear cut than it seems. It’s likely that men (of which I am one) who are in the racial majority (which I am) are less motivated (which I am) because the status quo favors them much more.
I subscribe to lifehacker for lifehacks. Is it possible to subscribe to afiltered lifehacker RSS feed without having to read posts like this?
*slippery slope engaged*
Men are too busy working and supporting the family while women sit at home with nothing better to do than protest. None of their protesting has changed a damn thing.
Oh piss off. This game is wonderful. Quit nitpicking and enjoy yourself for once.
Is it really priceless when it’s insured for a specific value?
