This whole thing was so weird for me. I was in the market for a video card so I got the game for free. Don’t own any of the others (have played/liked them but just don’t own them) so this was win for me.

After reading the comments, I didn’t realize so many people still played vanilla minecraft to get excited about this. After playing with a decent modpack (pick one from FTB for instance) the new cape looks kinda cool but nothing to get too excited over. It does look like they are using a new “flight” mechanic though…

read a good number of comments and i am amazed that no one is picking up on the fact that this will have to be a drastic departure from the typical far cry gameplay....no guns, no vehicles. hi tech weapons? a bow. low tech? a rock? a sharp stick? ...yeah....
