OK, first, I never used the word "stolen" or "stealing" so don't put words in my mouth.

Sure. Go for the George Carlin philosophy:
Bush vs. Nader in Florida came down to 537 votes; 97,000+ people voted for Nader in Florida. You are correct that Gore didn't have a lot of charisma but those Nader voters could have turned things the opposite direction had they been a bit more pragmatic. Hell, they knew FL would be close; Nader could have leveraged…
Um… yes (it was 2000 by the way). I was a young idealist back then and I voted for Nader. Realistically, it didn't make much of a difference as I live in CO and Bush carried the state by a fairly large margin but I still regret that vote and would change it if I could.
I think you're right on X6 (I don't think it was X5 and I never played X7) but for some reason, I found those guys much easier than the original. I guess I need to get better at pattern recognition.
I always used Elec in conjunction with the select trick; was there a better way to do it?
You forgot Cut, but I assume he's between Guts and Elec: this is the order that I run as well.
Nice. That was one of the first things I though of as well.
Looks like I got me some listening to do: I listened to The Bake Sale constantly when it came out and still pop it on periodically but I never actually heard Ice Fishing.
You're talking the original (not the arcade game that was released for the NES)? Yeah, I never took that one down… but I also never owned it myself (I did have a friend that had it and we logged a good bit of time).
Dude, you beat Battletoads but couldn't beat Ninja Gaiden? I was the opposite (NG was a lot of work but Battletoads was fucking impossible).
I just have to tell you: I love her voice.
3-D Christmas. Definitely Christmas.
Wow, they played Coma? That's fucking awesome.
Not really: parents coming over to play with the kids, fire in the fire pit to cook some marshmallows, probably get a few fireworks to shoot off for the kids, maybe some stargazing.
Did you guys ever hear the unreleased Jon Brion produced version of Extraordinary Machine? You could find it on P2P services pretty easily back in the day. When the Pawn… is still my favorite but that is a pretty close second.
OK, cool. You and me, we're on the same page.
Original Star Wars or original Trilogy? Because I was born in '79 and saw Jedi in the theater. By all traditional definitions, I'm a late Gen Xer but perhaps not by yours? …in which case, good day, sir.
I just physically shuttered thinking about that.
I've always seen '82 as the earliest first year of Millennial with '84 as the latest last year of Gen X. I've usually recognized the latter as my younger sister was born in '84 and she's more of a Gen Xer.
