I also saw Jim Jefferies one night at the Comedy Works in Denver. It wasn't really a heckler situation but there was a couple and the wife was offended by Jim's stuff… because he's Jim Jefferies.

Carlin was always my favorite: I saw him handle several hecklers and it was masterful. Two of my favorites (and one of these may have been on a CD) were to the effect of:

Randall Park is also the dad on Fresh Off the Boat which I found much more enjoyable than I thought I would. A big part of that is the way he plays the father, the way Constance Wu plays the mother and the way they play off each other. It's a lot like Everybody Hates Chris and how the best parts of that show Terry

Stank pussy smellin' like Cool Ranch Doritos.

I think it was Space Quest 4 that had the time machine and if you didn't write down the code that was displayed when you first got into the time machine you couldn't get back to the right time later in the game.

This one is heavy in my daughter's rotation right now so I've seen it at least five times in the last month and started to notice the same about how it deals with class, etc. There really is a lot there for adults to pick up on and think about.

You and I seem to be on the same page: I'm right there with you on LCD not having a bad song, I don't see how you don't open with Dance Yrself Clean (the build to release in that song is made to get a crowd going) and Beat Connection the a song that makes me smile more than any other LCD song… the perfect cap to a

They seem to come through Denver every year or two and I keep thinking I should go but I don't have any exposure to what they've done since the 90s. What do you recommend picking up?

I disagree that Hansen is the worst. MMMBop was actually a well crafted pop song with lyrics that were much darker than the music implied. I'd much rather be listening to Hansen than a lot of other garbage.

So you're from upstate NY? …I understand. My grandparents lived outside of Massena and I can't count the number of deer I almost hit while visiting them… and that was only for about a week at a time every couple of years. I got lucky in that I never actually nailed one.

I saw the god bit as a pretty clever comment on certainty with respect to the unknowable rather than on Rick the character. If I'm not mistaken, we only saw 2 of 64 Ricks that asked god for help, who knows what the other Ricks were doing… I tended to assume that they were trying to find a logical way out.

Why does Boo Berry never get any recognition in articles along these lines? It's always Count Chocula this and Franken Berry that.

That was my first reaction too. I mean, dude is British and he has played DJ sets but that's not how I would think to identify him.

Hell. Yes. Head Trip was a relatively unexpected follow up to Regretfully Yours (although Nothing Good Is Real hinted that there was more to these guys) and totally blew my mind when I first popped it in. Just beautiful songwriting.

Exactly. I actually found where someone online took the Kendrick Remix and spliced in the appropriate bits of m.A.A.d. City to essentially create a studio version of that Grammy performance. It's pretty great because, you're right, it's a Kendrick song with one verse and a chorus by Imagine Dragons… it actually makes

Nah, it's just the burger… fries are nameless, second class citizens in the Sanrio world.

So a couple of months ago I took my daughter to the Hello Kitty Supercute Friendship Festival when it came through Denver. It was a fairly amusing three-hour ordeal and my daughter loved it so… dad win!

Silverchair FTMFW!

Nice. Thanks man. My technical foundation isn't quite as strong as yours in the area (I'm a ChemE) but hopefully the fact that friends and I used to make our own physics experiments for fun back in HS will give me enough of a foundation to get by. I'll probably pick it up over the holiday weekend and see if I can get

The concept of Terminator 3 was excellent: it hit all of the beats that it should have and as @Drunk Dave stated, it did follow through with Judgement Day as it should have. However, the execution was pretty horrible.
