All the Bad Parts! It could use a little polish, but it's got that awesome art-game ambitiousness, and a really good story.

It's probably because I'm OLD and kids need to get off my lawn, but here's how I remember buying games not that long ago:
Eternal Sonata. THIS THREAD IS NOW OVER.
Oooohhhhhh ... Cybermen who weren't willing to go all the way with the transformation! Me likey.
Nicely said, and I agree with it all. Played through it the first time in one sitting, which is a positive for me.
I might be the only one here old enough to remember the C64 game "Crime and Punishment": [www.c64sets.com]%20and%20Punishment&i=package%20back
So, this kinda appeals to me, but I'm not so interested in the inventory micromanagement that the alchemy system seems to be. I adored Eternal Sonata ... what's another great JRPG in that vein, with similarly beautiful graphics/sound?
Yeah, just finished it the other day. Love the game ... but really conflicted about the ending.
I wonder if it's to do with the fact that I bought the game as a download from the PS Store, but that song didn't play for me when I entered Mexico. I had heard so much about it and what an awesome moment it was, but it didn't happen. Does anybody know if the song was removed from the digital version?
Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but might have missed it: To The Moon, awesome little indie download.
How about they "celebrate" the folks like me that bought the limited edition on day one, suffered through all of the bugs and updates, and paid for each separate piece of DLC?
Totally agreed. Never have understood the appeal of multiplayer. Great games with great single-player campaigns get my money.
Serious question: I've never played an Elder Scrolls game before (but am a Fallout addict). Is there anything I need to know, story-wise, going into this one?
I'm in the same boat as you. They're strictly rentals, for me. And since you're just starting the trilogy, you won't have any trouble finding the first two at a rental store. They're worth it for the single-player if you can rent them, IMO.
And once again it's proven that the Geto Boys can make anything look bad-ass.
Waaait a minute, Tyrese is a singer. I don't remember Transformers crediting Shia LeBoeuf, John Tuturro, and Black Ty.
I would watch any SF movie with Dylan in it. At least five times.
I could probably go on some silly argument about how the "captain" characters in Star Trek aren't always necessarily the "main" characters... but even I know that'd be silly. Fair point.
Sisko is mentioned up top but doesn't get on the list? Well damn. (By which, of course, I really mean, "great list.") #MichaelCera4Shaft
That's not just Dessler... that's a Lady Dessler.
