i always really enjoyed this silly movie.
great casting as well.

those coen brothers know their character actors like nobody's business….

forward to the past!

random side note:
i was happy to see the actor who played the "what am i calling it for?" store clerk in no country for old men.

i have many non majority opinions about all kinds of music…that said i think most people agree that the police were, by and large, a good band.
strong distinctive singing, great playing, catchy memorable tunes, cool production/textures….you could definitely do worse.

kurtwood smith owns all.
nobody shoots kneecaps like kurtwood.
he's also very good at spitting blood on stuff.

completely disagree.

very artful trolling sir.
nicely done.

looks like they have efficiently removed everything that was cool about robocop in the first place.  so instead of the iconic christ like ultra gruesome extended brutality of the original scene he gets blown up by a car bomb?  ed 209 looks all slick and graceful?
this looks like the total recall remake all over

while i won't dismiss all "punk" (whatever that is exactly at this point) i have to agree with your general point.  the problem with punk/indie/whatever is that it is music that takes pride in not being all that good at music (things like melody, singing, harmony, instrumental prowess, etc).
this can be very

could just be my childhood speaking up but i think blood sugar still pretty much kicks ass, especially on the guitar front.

push the little daisies has the merit of at least being extremely funny and goofy imo.
annoying as fuck…but still funny.

i could lose she don't use jelly….but to trash all of the police stuff?
c'mon jealous guy….that was a great band.  get back to me when the mekons write even one hook as good as those guys.  sting may be a bit of a pretentious douche (as are many huge rock stars)….but he's also very talented and together with copeland

sad disintegration of a talented performer.  any comic who can't handle an annoying crowd should just go do something else.  grow up or gtfo imo.

i could comment on the episode which was very enjoyable….but instead i'll just say:
DAMN…2000+ comments!

after hearing her precarious episode of WTF with marc maron…..she appears terminally unable to fully get it together.
she's a sensitive flower to the extreme…super talented tho imo.

this first struck me as pretty far out since japanese audiences are notoriously respectful of touring performers….so it makes sense that the audience was not in fact native.
sounds like FA got a taste of what it's like to be an average musician doing wedding/cocktail party gigs and getting ignored….all courtesy of the

what is this the scarlet letter or some shit?
c'mon lars…"whoring bed"?

those pictures are pretty priceless…the close up in sharp focus of him pinning the grimacing photographer to the back of the car is just too much.
almost so good as to be faked/set up….but obviously not.
it's also possible that his young wife (with the improbable name of Hilaria) has this weird kink where she gets hot

the best thing about the film is the general feeling more than any of the stars, characters, etc.
The film had this certain destabilized moral compass and constant glaring sunlight…striking.
