thought the still of clooney was from soderbergh's solaris…
that said….any follow up to children of men i will pay to see!

@avclub-27e87cc851baee4401e8eed1d89fa6ba:disqus i suppose so…and i should add that this was far from prime king imo.
that said i did have to give the novel some props for being so balls to the wall insanely violent and nihilistic.  even i was taken aback at the level of grim/wild brutality, practically on par with

that's not quite it…a more concise explanation can be found downthread….or just look at the under the dome novel wiki…

MOOOOOOOORE SPOOOOOOOOILERSSSSSSS!
i think the reason that people (including me) hated the ending of the book (who knows what the tv show will do, something equally corny no doubt) was that at this point "it was aliens all along" is right up there with "it was all a

it's ok (really nice sounds and hard hitting drums)…but it takes forever to get going and kind of kills the essential pop sugar instant adrenaline rush of the original.
definitely one of their better covers tho….that much is true (although to be fair it is a collaboration track)

i like the cut of your jib.
i laughed out loud at the simple truth….

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's practically the plot of the novel.  i was disappointed to say the least.

i definitely consider myself a FL fan….but i'll be damned if their cover songs don't just suck.
from the beatles to floyd to queen….to this overly harsh sounding pitchy echo-y thing.

im not the hugest fan of his rhyming stuff (despite the evident talent and technical skill needed to execute it) but i loved the nonfiction pieces.

damn.

hm…somehow in my mind Bjork would somehow manage to physically kick mother nature's ass in a cage match type scenario.  another dream shattered.

The posters plastered all over nyc already convinced me to skip this sad thing….and this review only confirmed it.
seeing jeff bridges with that gold gun is sad.

i think you may be onto something.

for once i enjoyed this inherently negative feature.
just the idea of lynch being traumatized by this cheesy music is amusing.
anyway…hope that next movie happens dave!

cept for that last one…they lost me on there.  too much screwing around, not enough tunes…

nicely done.
and the air is getting so very cheesy in here…….

stuck in the impossible position of tv watcher during the summer who is also an avid stephen king fan…i keep getting pulled back to the flame that is this resolutely mediocre program…such is my pathetic plight.

ha!
that would be a first for me….
screw it…it's going to be so muggy and gross in nyc this wk might as well just go for 2 plus hours of solid a.c.

is that what it is?
whatever it is…that scene in the darkened bedroom made her look like an alien.

i know nothing about glee or this actor….but that's a damn shame.

@mattepntr:disqus valid point.  that said the guy has made plenty of money off his fans already one way or the other.  his chunk of the grosses is not going to be life changing.
either way…he sounds like an asshole and i was going to skip the movie anyway.
as to the larger point tho i have no doubt that one can be a
