some of it does feel slightly filler-y but honestly the strong tracks are so definitive i have no problem with it.

definitely a top album for me (top 10 or top 20/30 not sure).

seconded…you can ABSOLUTELY lose money on a tour.
unless you are the upper echelon of the business and after everyone involved has been paid (including transport, lodging, etc), many or even most indie bands barely break even at best and just do it for the joy of playing for people and hopefully getting their band…

yeah…he just kept yelling and yelling…really annoying by the end.
i liked the synth line sorta.

his rhythm also seemed oddly "off"….besides that it just felt "yell-y" and monotonous.

agree.  made me realize how much i really bought the painfully real vibe of the early seasons in comparison to the latter season silliness.

definitely agree about james spader.  when he showed up i was definitely looking forward to some cool strange writing which never quite arrived.

that has got to be a nostalgia aided A-.
not to be a sour puss…but that was just boring and lazy with a few moments of joy mixed in here and there. even by the low standards of this mercifully final season it was rough. silly sudden plot wrap ups, lazy jokes, easy half assed sentimentality (which paled in comparison…
