as a big fan of the podcast i am rooting for maron's show to go over well…however my bet is that the tone and subject is just off enough both in type and patchy execution that it will not be renewed.  just a guess….but it just did not have that "grab you" vibe for an audience not already familiar with his work.

I'm not making any value judgement on her comedy but the promotion campaign for this show definitely has the premise of "you want to sleep with this woman!"
