not the greatest ep ever but i think C+ is harsh.
also ann looked adorable after tom's ex assaulted her.
just not buying the plot line wherein they actually get married.
the affair is perfectly reasonable…the marriage not so much.
wish they had not shoehorned this into the end of the season….especially since it seems unlikely they will remain married if the central premise of the series is to be maintained.
hm i did not consider the "perry factor" in this equation. he was the marlboro man of highschool.
i guess seeing the "silver spoons cherubic kid" looking weathered even with some photoshop retouching threw me for a loop.
sidenote: seeing current crow's feet pictures of actors who were sitcom kids when i was a sitcom watching kid reminds me once again that we are all going to die.
sigh.
ah well….until then carry on.
i did not realize this guy was still in stuff…
thanks for the heads up…i thought he was pretty good in NYPD blue!
at first i thought your headline said the film was proudly "iconic" rather than "idiotic"….ha!
please sign me up….i am willing to take the risk of being a victim…as long as the success comes first. i'll make it work.
ha!
that said amy winehouse obviously had serious medical/psychological/dependency issues (with celebrity completely to the side) and for that i have sympathy.
i now remember a scene in curb where she specifically tells larry she wants to do the project they are discussing on HBO so she can say fuck.
i also just heard her on the podcast bullseye today and she was delightful.
it reminded me of the chinese food scene in Lost Boys
i bet he did not show the Pabst folks the script….ha!
i suspect he helped MAKE it "cool".
tastes terrible imo.
the blue velvet Pabst placement is so iconic i always assumed it was not actually product placement but more of a wry commentary on the blackness of Frank's soul.
one of hundreds:
"my boyfriend in college was one quarter cherokee!"
bwaahahahahaha.
this show's repartee is sharp as a frickin tack.
so many good lines and JLD is having the time of her life. she is on fire.
i have not heard this many brutal lines since early arrested development.
sidenote: JLD is loving saying the word…
i bet those CGI guys worked their fingers to the bone tho moving those pesky little pixels around…..
veep, game of thrones, mad men, and bob's burgers!
cool.
agree.
that movie packed a wallop…..the jasper death was a terrible blow….and there were more to follow. i teared up at least 3 times. no shame in that.
awesome movie.
i like songs.
songs are the best.
bah!
melodies rule!
the lips should do a colab with paul mccartney instead of keisha….paul writes the tunes…the lips can do all the arranging/playing/mixing/etc.
