1)Argo was just not all that.
maybe i'll give it another shot just to be sure….
2)listening to michelle obama give the oscar to zero dark thirty would have been truly weird
3)the master was probably the best film of the year imo.
seems a bit of a ramshackle existence…but maybe that IS comfortable?
really? i think she is the most annoying character on the show, which is no easy task. i guess to each his/her own….
I must have missed something cause i thought that jessa's pop was uber wealthy….or was that her character in tiny furniture? interesting choice of playing her father as such an eccentric (also fun casting…that guy was the band manager in Almost Famous).
i have to say i was not much of a fan of Django….tasteless over the top retro pop culture pastiche with serious pacing/tone problems imo. tedious and self indulgent…and ultimately trivial.
not to sound like a dick…but those who are expecting something spectacular (when hearing references to naked lunch and buckaroo banzai) re John Dies at the End…will be a bit disappointed. imo it's a half finished under-budgeted mess (even with the always awesome paul giamatti)…definitely optional.
back on the reality planet:
stunning woman…mediocre voice…married well.
dawson's creek meets dead ringers?
only if ber beek can have a cgi twin i guess.
i'm all for celebrating film as an art form even if it ultimately is just another shallow diversion….my problem is that the movies that end up in the proper political lobbying position are rarely the ones i feel are the most interesting, and past a certain point the more interesting a film is the less likely it is to…
am i the only one who thinks oscars=meh?
argo was ok and all but….
ug. full stop.
most tear inducing was ron talking to leslie pre wedding.
Jerry:
"it's also my phone"
standard parks and rec joke but still damn funny.
chia the beef for president of mediocrity.
sheesh….what a frickin nightmare.
page? he's got his own issues but he definitely is not worried about singing…
nah.
oh alec baldwin. ya gotta love/hate that guy.
star 80 is still one of the most disturbing films i have ever seen….roberts frickin sells that shit.
