Good point. I’ll take mine and I’ll like it.

We are all the better for it.

Well, when you put it that way...

    Oh, that’s savage.

That’s a bit too symmetrical for this crowd. Make it an odd three and we should be good.

Thanks! I must admit, I was holding out hope $kay was going to find a shot of Kate Beckinsale for me, but it’s my first win and all.

Heh. Yes, let’s hope no one competes with Schumi. I still can’t fully process his fate. The universe is no respecter of persons, that’s for certain.

That’s very kind of you! Just remember: It’s not the thought that counts, but the distraction from the attempt.

Thanks, $kay! It’s not every day someone offers me what appear to be the conjoined halves of two Impalas.

Well, I’m stunned. Ash78 and you won’t believe what happens next’s comment about one of the least cost-effective ways to stance a car left me awestruck by its brilliance. I was certain it was a shoe-in (toe-in?) for COTD, and would be inducted into the Jalopnik Hall of Fame.

Yes indeed. Excellent choices, but terrible outcome.

No one expects the Spanish Grand Prix (to be won by Sauber)!

I couldn’t find him or her.

She was driving. Here’s the original post:

Oh, you’re absolutely correct. But some people were balking as though they would now be compelled to drive at that speed.

I thought this was a pretty good first attempt.

The entire stretch from the Utah border to Reno could stand to be goosed to 80 MPH. I can’t think of many spots between Wendover and Winnemucca that wouldn’t be safe at that speed.

After reading several comments I feel compelled to offer this PSA:

It was Montana, ca. 1995, when the national 55 MPH limit was lifted.
