You make a solid point, but I’m certain it can be worked around.
Oh goody, a cultist responding to my comment.
The 5.2 and 5.9 were “too wide.”
Frankly that V6 is a pretty good place to start. You want to throw in some power adders, it’ll take it. It weighs about 200 lbs less than a SBC so you can afford to throw in some engine meth without pushing the chassis loading beyond what it might otherwise have to cope with.
This old beast is about 20 minutes away from my house. I know, because I happened upon it a few years ago while out for a weekend cruise. We got out of the car and poked around and I remember telling Sweetie then, “I don’t know if it’s in working condition but it looks like it’s all here.” The engine doors were all…
Torch is geeking out over an obscure VW detail?
Kid goes back in the house. Unca Dave watches, bemused. Two minutes later, kid comes back, lugging the vacuum cleaner.
My favorite generation of BMW, the fun-if-pretentious yellow fog lenses, grossly misapplied to the headlights, boo, and after that it all goes horribly wrong.
Tracy is going to grow up to be some wide-eyed kid’s weird uncle. I mean, the kid is going to go to school, and he is going to have stories.
That’s slightly less worthless than I had assumed. I thought it was a grossly misrepresented ABS feature, braking the spinning wheel in a traction loss situation. That actually sounds a bit locky.
Sounds like there is such a thing as too smart.
Unless there’s a regular need to carry a lot of something kinda big - not quite fullsize duty, enough to validate the silly little 5' bed on this thing - absent that requirement, I’d just run a Prius or, if I really wanted decent comfort, a Camry hybrid. Better fuel economy on cheaper fuel, that’s a double whammy…
Say what you will, the Scimitar is gorgeous.
Agreed, but detailed or not, this thing looks just a tad too good to have been ferrying a crew anywhere. Once in a while maybe, but I don’t suspect that has been this rig’s job day to day.
It might be some level of good. Racists being exposed for what they are, who knows. Maybe that’s a good thing.
All cars everywhere are in FAFO mode at all times. Whether it is deployed is up to the driver’s discretion.
I think what they’re calling a rear diff lock is the electronic “locking” feature that is, in fact, nothing of the sort.
Should’ve stayed in the mall parking lot.
“May or may not be the last” isn’t writing on the wall, it’s shit smeared on the partition. Wipe it away and see what’s really there.
