I’m betting hybrids are going to catch up to the ICE-only models on towing ere long.  As it is RAV4 Prime can drag away 2500 pounds, more than enough for most folks.  RAV4 models top out at 3500 pounds so it’s not like it’s leaving a big lot on the table, just some.

I know you say four MPG, but in each category in the picture you included, the difference was six MPG. Perhaps you were quoting your actual MPG from when you test drove the cars?

I’m already a fan of vent windows; my AC-less truck has them and is, therefore, survivable even in the jungle-like humidity and heat of Tennessee summers. And I have encountered crank-operated vent windows, which are a step beyond.

A couple of years ago I watched a vid where a guy was shoehorning a Shortstar or Northstar, can’t remember which, under the hood of his X-11. He’d already taken some steps to upgrade the already-good handling, and now he was stuffing in approximately double the power.
