My son has a Volt and is a fan. He can go an entire week without the engine turning on at all - often if it does turn on, it’s because the built-in exerciser program insisted that it do so.

It looks like it should exactly hit the upper end of the heavy quad VSP designation in France. VSPs are limited to 90 km/h - 55.9 mp/h and 15kW motor output. That moves this thing down into a licensing and taxation bracket that is VERY attractive to a lot of people, while still being irrepressibly cute and useful.
