If you need a centuries old manual to double check which group of people should be treated with humanity, and which butchered like animals, well, I dunno, maybe that suggests you might just be part of the problem.

successful handsome men staring them down

And apparently spent a lot of time at that club, and messaged gay men about meeting up. There was a lot of self hatred and denial going on there which seems to have melted his brain.

Yeah, to non-Americans it's incomprehensible. For a country that still often appears so compassionate and open and generous, it's bizarre that it's citizens can be slaughtered in this way by its own, which is what is different to similar atrocities elsewhere

You have to imagine it foresees an organised military force of some kind rather than randomly armed citizenry. Historically, there's been a distrust of standing armies, suspect that's what was been thought of.

There can't be anything left to throw at the Clintons surely? Hilary shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die? Bill ate puppy hearts as President? Chelsea is a space alien, readying us for the probing? Oy, the probing!

She was in that Michael Bay documentary about Benghazi I assume, along with, oh, Krazinski, Nicholas Cage and Optimus Prime. Boffo cast.

Hunger is as amazing, haunting piece & also almost apolitical. McQueen's best film by a mile, and Fassbender is revelatory. Though not surprising he's stuck with less traumatic work since..

Not available on DVD. Bizarre

"How Immigrants are giving the Queen's dogs cancer"

I'd rather not, old fruit. The Guardian still publishes some of the finest writing found pound for pound anywhere, David Conn wrote a remarkable piece about Hillsborough recently for instance. But articles like that seem out of place alongside a puff piece about McDonalds.

The Guardian has really gone downhill in the last few months. They've laid off a bunch of staff due to financial problems, and an increasing number of the articles are garbage like this. It's a shame, investigate journalism like Spotlight will become a thing of the past in a generation, hard to see what will replace
